ATENEO ALUMNI TO VILLAR: ADMIT YOU’RE LOSING!

‘STOP LIES, BLACK PROP VS AQUINO, ROXAS’

Alumni of the Ateneo de Manila University Batch 1974 and a political officer of the Liberal Party have challenged Nacionalista Party presidential bet Senator Manny Villar to stop sowing intrigues and lies against Liberal party tandem Senator Benigno S. Aquino III and Senator Mar Roxas II.

Rose Romero, one of the political officers of Roxas, said Villar’s camp should present the woman in the digital video disc (DVD) who claimed that Roxas was behind the black propaganda against Aquino. Romero added that Guido Delgado, former president of the National Power Corp. and a staunch supporter of Villar, should present the woman in the video.

According to Romero, members of the Batch 1974 of the Ateneo High School disown the woman in the video and that this was only a product of wild imaginations against Aquino and Roxas.

The fake psychological report of Aquino circulated by Villar’s camp is a clear indication of how desperate Villar is because Aquino’s lead is further stretching in the run-up for the May 10 elections, Romero added.

“If the black propaganda machinery of their opponents could stoop lower than this one, we wouldn’t know. Our minds are not as malicious as theirs,” Romero said.

For his part, Mario “Bok” Villamor, member of Ateneo High’s Batch 1974, said it would be proper for Villar’s camp to present the woman in the DVD so that the public will know the truth.

“We are urging him (Delgado) to present the woman to us so that the public will know the real truth behind the allegations. Mar never ask us or task us to do against any person,” Villamor said.

Villamor said that Delgado had the temerity to present the fake psychiatric report of Aquino purportedly signed by Jesuit priest Jaime Bulatao even though he had not verified it. The report, supposedly taken 30 years ago when Aquino was 19 years old, was denied by Bulatao, a psychology professor at Ateneo.

It appeared that Delgado copied the ‘Hello, Garci’ scandal wherein he used a DVD and boasted of an unverified psychiatric evaluation of Aquino.

Villamor stressed that Batch ’74 is strongly supporting the candidacies of Roxas and Aquino in the upcoming polls, adding that they were saddened because Villar’s camp is using a manufactured lie against them to drive a wedge between leading tandem Aquino and Roxas.
