HON. ALFONSO V. UMALI
2nd District, Mindoro Oriental

FOR nine years since 1992, he served as the Provincial Administrator of the Province of Oriental Mindoro and concurrently
the Provincial Coordinator of the Office of the Civil Defense. He was also the President of the Association of the Provincial and National Government Chiefs of Offices in 1995-2001 before finally taking his chance to run as representative of the 2nd District of the province.

Umali has received various awards and recognitions from the Development Academy of the Philippines for his notable participation in the DSWD Bureau of Emergency Assistance and Disaster Management; by the Philippine Tuberculosis Society Inc. for his continued support and assistance to their programs and projects; from the Philippine Southern Luzon Command, Department of National Defense for his quick response and outstanding
performance in disaster management. Umali is a loyal and active member of the Liberal Party and currently holds the position of Deputy Secretary General.
